This site was inspired by Ethan Suplee’s character Randy Hickey from the hit show My Name is Earl. In episode #82, “Orphan Earl”, Randy tells Earl he is going to write a book about how non-food items taste because he has a curious tongue. His first item licked was a cactus to which he remarks “painful, but worth it.” Another item licked is Crabman’s hair to which he says “tastes like marijuana.” He records these into a notebook given to him by Earl (played by Jason Lee) entitled “The Curious Tongue.”
